SCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS

We are open to serve you, answer questions or schedule an appointment during the following hours:
  • Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00am to 4:00pm
  • Wednesday & Friday: 8:00am to 12:00pm (administration and emergencies only)

During the course of orthodontic treatment, it is imperative that you do not miss a scheduled appointment. Orthodontic forces must be monitored on a regular basis to insure the highest quality of orthodontic care that we can provide. You will need an appointment every four to six weeks for regular adjustments to your appliances. Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you, and it is very important that at you keep these appointments or call as soon as possible if you need to reschedule.

When an appointment has to be rescheduled for any reason, we ask that you take the next available appointment to prevent treatment delays. Because our appointments are scheduled six weeks in advance, we reschedule appointments on a first-come-first-serve basis. In the event that you will miss your appointment, please notify our office within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment. This will allow us to offer your appointment time to other patients.

Please allow the following time for each appointment type:
  • Initial Examination - 30 minutes
  • Records, if not part of the Initial Examination – 30 minutes
  • Initial Bonding - 60 minutes
  • Adjustment Appointments - 25 minutes

We have put much effort into designing our scheduling system. Our goal is to allow you to be seen on time for your appointment, do all necessary scheduled treatments, and to minimize interruptions to your busy schedule. In an effort to avoid missed appointments and late arrivals, we have installed an automated calling system to remind you of your appointment date, time and location. To insure that you receive a remainder call, please notify us of any changes to your phone number.

Regular dental check-ups and cleanings with your general dentist are of utmost importance. We encourage you to have your teeth cleaned at least every six months.
